Beach Update
“The Ledge Light Health District has given an “all clear” to all Black Point beaches today after a bacteria advisory was issued last weekend. The results from Monday’s retesting came in today, showing bacteria levels had dissipated and cleared. All Black Point Beaches are open.”

Beach Closed
Ledge Light Health District conducted bathing water sampling recently. Results showed elevated bacteria levels remained high. Per the Health District, Main Beach at Nehantic Drive has since been posted closed, and swimming or wading in these waters is restricted until further notice, most likely when it’s retested on Monday.
